Firstly, I should say, I never take bookings on the 31st of December. Well… at least I thought so. That was until I opened an email from my beautiful bride, Shannon.
Her message was full of details, painting a vivid picture of the vision she had for their wedding day. Every word felt like music to my ears, and before I knew it, my “no New Year’s Eve weddings” rule had flown straight out the window. My gut told me to say yes, and oh, was I right.
From the moment I stepped into her house, I knew this was going to be one for the books. And then… I saw the dress. “IT’S VERA WANG! ” You know that feeling when something is so perfect you’d happily trust your entire wardrobe for a makeover? That was me, instant connection on a whole new level.
The ceremony, cocktail hour, beautiful dinner, and late-night party all took place in the most elegant hotel setting. The black-tie style was absolute perfection for the night, and my camera didn’t get a moment’s rest.
I’m always in awe of couples who are crystal clear in their vision and unapologetically celebrate their day exactly the way they feel it.
