Grace & Cormac started their Big day with preparations at one of the most central hotels in Cork, IMPERIAL HOTEL.
The ceremony took place at St.Peters. This modern wedding venue is set inside a former Medieval church. This was definitely the most color inspired wedding I’ve ever shot! From the sky blue wedding dress to the ceremony decorated with lots of paper lanterns. Adorned with a beautiful flower bouquet and accessories by Jill Wild to an amazing ballroom decoration by an extremely talented artist Kari Cahill! Oh my, this wedding was a true gem of inspiration to those brides that want a unique and contemporary, personalized wedding. This wedding is a great example which proves that you don’t need to spend superfluous sums of money on decor, you just need to do your homework on Pinterest 🙂
When I met with Grace and Cormac for a chat over a cup of coffee, I knew that this wedding will be something else! I guess it is because of the vibe and energy that those two sweethearts shined through! I’m a huge fan of contemporary city weddings and I couldn’t wait to document this one in particular.
On the day, the sky decided to pour seemingly endless buckets of rain – typical Ireland. Nevertheless, it didn’t stop me, nor my wonderful couple from finding shelter in Cork’s most vibrant locations Crawford Art Gallery.
Cork is close to Grace’s heart, and there’s nothing more well known here than the infamous English Market. A bustling, full spirited place, ideal to capture the passion shared by Grace and Cormac. In the following days, Cork was expecting the Pride Parade, making the city illuminated with every color of the rainbow. As we walked the streets, it was easy to find spots where Grace and Cormac could hide and have fun while I captured their special moments. Their wedding truly was exemplary of the modernity, and the stylized take on a 21st-century wedding.
The guests were a vital part of the fun, and vibrancy of the day. Although it was a lighthearted event, the precious moments still touched everybody deeply. An unforgettable day, and an unforgettable couple!
